Theme of the week: Eat like you're a bottomless pit, then eat some more. The only problem with this is there are very few foods that actually sound appetizing. Some of those foods include cereal (mostly the unhealthy kind Cap'n Crunch, Golden Grahams, Frosted Flakes), Thai food, Safeway panini's and sweets. It's a tough life.
Also, let's talk about how I sometimes get winded just sitting down. Yup, that happens. Oh, and? Baby boy has learned how to jab my insides. So it makes for some pretty excited "whoas!" from the daddy-to-be when he's feeling for movement. Super exciting. :)
How far along? 29 weeks!
Size of baby: We have graduated from the eggplant and Harrison is now a squash! 2.5 pounds and 15 inches long. I don't know if I've just been ignoring the "length" portion of these updates but 15 inches sounds really long! Most babies come out between 19-22...that's not too far to go.
Total weight gain/loss: +13. I'm expecting a big leap after Thanksgiving though...
Stretch marks? Negative...so far.
Best moment this week: Many more people getting to feel baby kicks. And the smiles that follow. :)
Worst moment this week: A terrible backache after I decided to sit hunched over the coffee table painting frames for two hours.
Movement: Lots and lots! Baby boy is getting strong.
Food cravings: See above....ha.
Sex: BOY.
Labor Signs: Noooope.
Belly Button in or out? Still in, but creeping toward the surface.
What I miss: ?Lung capacity. And being able to sit closer to my desk at work.
What I am looking forward to: All of the things I ordered for the nursery arriving! Also our second baby shower this weekend!
Weekly Wisdom: Keep on keepin' on. Only 11 weeks left. Eek.
Milestones: Bigger belly, stronger kicks.

How exciting! Goodness, a squash!?
ReplyDeleteHow far along were you when you started to feel him?
Jealous that you have no stretch marks! Also, Captain Crunch is the best. NOM
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Aren't you looking forward to EATING on Thanksgiving!! It is sad how excited I am just thinking about it :)
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one that went cereal crazy near the end of the pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about all your eating now. You will come to the time where the baby is taking up so much room, there will hardly be any left for food.
ReplyDeleteYou look super cute today though. Rockin the preggo belly!
Eat it all!! I always say that when pregnancy comes around that's the time to eat everything you want!
ReplyDeleteyou look amazing!!! Glad to hear all is continuing to go well!
