Well that's it. Another birthday down. Now I must get through the annual post-birthday February 17th lull in which I realize I have to wait a whole freaking year for a day to be all about me again. Discounting last year, of course, when getting married is pretty much all about the bride so February 17th was bearable. Do I sound like a spoiled brat? I swear I'm not. But I digress.
I generally don't get a lot for my birthdays and I'm completely fine with it. Honestly, a card with a sweet message in it is the greatest thing. And truth be told, I'm awkward as fuck opening gifts in front of people. I mean really, there's only so much you can say. I tend to "aww" a lot...too much, in fact.
My Wednesday work schedule is awesome and I had the morning off. Tyler, being the awesome husband that he is, got me a breakfast burrito from my favorite breakfast place, Starbucks and enough trash magazines to last me, oh, three days.

Then I had to work. {lame} But my boss knows how much I love my coffee and I Love Lucy and she used that info to her advantage and got me this incredible gift...

Dinner was the one thing that I'm always craving. Sushi.

And lastly, in Tyler's exceptional continuing attempts at being the best husband of all time he got me the one gift that will assure that he gets to watch what he wants on TV in the evenings...
I'm SO excited. Give me book suggestions, por favor?
